Diagnosis, therapy and monitoring of inflammation
PATHFAST™ determines the quantity of hs Trop I, NTproBNP, D-Dimer, hsCRP, Myoglobin, CK-MB mass, BRAHMS PCT and Presepsin from one single whole blood sample. The quantitative data of the parallel analyses provide results within minutes, which facilitate the therapeutical decision. Basis for a safe diagnosis on-site for patients with acute coronary syndrome, suspected coronary heart insufficiency, venous thromboembolism, inflammation and myocardial injury .
PATHFAST™ hsCRP is a product for in-vitro diagnostic use with the in vitro diagnostic system PATHFAST™ for the quantitative measurement of C-reactive protein (CRP) in human serum, heparinized or EDTA whole blood and plasma, also at low concentrations. C-reactive protein (CRP) is an acute phase -globulin with a molecular mass of approximately 118,000 daltons. CRP is highly conserved, composed of five identical cyclic globular subunits, and is classified as a member of the pentraxin superfamily of proteins. As elevated CRP values are always associated with pathological changes, the CRP assay provides useful information for the diagnosis, therapy, and monitoring of inflammatory conditions and associated diseases. The PATHFAST™ hsCRP is an assay for measurement of CRP – also at low concentrations - in the format of a chemiluminescent enzyme immunoassay (CLEIA). All required components for performing the testing are packed in one reagent cartridge. By loading PATHFAST™ hsCRP into the in vitro diagnostic system PATHFAST™, CRP can be accurately quantified within 17 min.
