Precise Design for Optimal Storage
PHCbi brand pharmaceutical refrigerators are intentionally engineered to achieve, retain, and restore the critical temperatures required for vaccine and biologics storage. Our purpose-built biomedical refrigerators are designed to meet the critical performance standards of temperature uniformity and stability.
Quality Performance, Improved Technology
The MPR-S500RH-PA pharmaceutical refrigerator, designed to meet CDC vaccine and biologics storage requirements, offers uncompromising preservation performance. Unlike a conventional hinged door, the sliding glass door configuration reduces air loss and provides easy access for frequent use settings. Natural refrigerants, variable-speed inverter compressor algorithm and the design of cool air distribution combine to drive the temperature uniformity needed for pharmaceutical refrigeration.
Enhanced Inverter Compressor Refrigeration Platform with Natural Refrigerants
Clean, natural hydrocarbon refrigerants used in the MPR-S500RH-PA yield efficient cooling with low global warming potential and zero ozone depletion potential. The proprietary inverter compressor algorithm [ICA] modulates the compressor motor speed according to temperature needs. The ICA uses less energy following door openings with faster recovery times than conventional on/off compressors. The MPR-S500RH-PA maintains temperature uniformity, even at load capacity, due to cool air distribution from the top third, bottom and cabinet front.
Designed to Save Space, Energy and Reporting Time
An ergonomic design and flexible shelf layout provide a clear view of stored materials with easy product access through the large, space-saving sliding glass door, designed to increase energy efficiency and protect stored materials from ambient temperatures. The insulated, dual-pane thermal glass doors are filled with argon gas to minimize heat transfer. Airflow across the surface of the door reduces condensation.
Integrated data logs monitor minimum and maximum temperatures over 12-and 24-hour periods, supporting CDC clinical recording recommendations. Temperature log, alarm, door opening and closing data are accessible via USB port as needed to support reporting requirement completion.
Interior LED lights automatically turn on/off in conjunction with the door opening and closing. Lights may also be operated from the control panel. Inventory security is supplemented with an integrated door key lock. Four casters facilitate easy movement of the unit, and the slim footprint is suitable for crowded facilities.
Microprocessor Controls, OLED Display
A microprocessor controller and OLED display feature excellent visibility and intuitive operation utilizing control buttons that provide convenient, yet secure, user commands. Refrigeration temperature can be displayed in 0.1°C increments, and the minimum and maximum temperatures within the previous 12 and 24 hours are displayed. Audible and visual alarms with adjustable setpoints warn of deviations from setpoint temperatures, and all alarm conditions are displayed and recorded. A password-protected control interface assures operational security.
Automatic Defrost System
Integrated sensors monitor evaporator coil temperature and automatically remove ice on coils. Interior cabinet temperature is maintained during the defrost cycle, safeguarding contents from adverse temperature conditions.
Available Accessories
Optional battery backup provides an audible alarm in the event of a power failure.
