Yishun’s Public Hospital
Khoo Teck Puat Hospital (KTPH) is the newest public hospital in Yishun. It was built to serve the healthcare needs of the people who live and work in the north of Singapore who currently number more than 650,000.
The opening of KTPH in 2010 marks the start of creating an integrated healthcare hub in the northern region, providing high quality and affordable healthcare to the community.
KTPH’s medical services on offer cover a comprehensive range and also include various medical specialties such as Geriatric Medicine, Diabetes Care, Weight Management, Dental Care, Cardiology and Interventional Cardiology, Dermatology, Obstetrics as well as Gynaecology.
At KTPH, taking care of the healthcare needs of patients means more than just providing an extensive range of medical services and specialties within a single hospital.

The hospital has been designed with patients’ comfort in mind and has been awarded the Building and Construction Authority (BCA) Green Mark Platinum Award for its green and energy efficient design. Patients enjoy the comfort from enhanced daylight, naturally cool air fromimproved ventilation, and the spacious 10-bed and 5-bed wards with bathroom facilities attached.
