SECOND
THE GENETIC EXTRACTION
The RNA from the viral specimen is extracted and then
delicately archived in a sample storage at -80°C or lower.

THE AMPLIFICATION
The test kits are used to amplify genetic material for detection. These kits contain enzymes, DNA PCR primers, and buffers.
PCR primers/probes are then stored accordingly as follows.
i. One aliquot of primers/probes can be stored at 2-8°C in storage such as pharmaceutical fridges.
MPR-S300H
ii. Store remaining aliquots at less than -20°C in a non-frost-free freezer*.
MDF-MU339H
iii. Store the remaining PCR test samplefor future verification in -70°C or lower.
MDF-DU300H
FOURTH
THE RESULT
The amplified cDNA is now ready for detection.
The PCR test sample is then stored at -80°C.
